End 2020 On Your Terms!

Go out empowered. Here are five ways.

One: Thank your staff.

If there is any reason to give credit to staff members for going above and beyond in 2020, do it before the end of the year. Make it public. Make it a big deal. Give them a gift card. Write a personal note. Do something.

Two: Thank your clients.

If you have a client that really stuck by you when they could have cut your budget, make sure to acknowledge them. Let them know that they really showed good faith. Tell them you appreciate them.

Three: Thank your loved ones.

If your loved ones made special sacrifices so you could keep your career afloat, thank them. Do something special. Make it happen. This year.

Four: Get some rest.

Get some rest over this break. Honestly, be intentional to get extra sleep. More time at the gym. A chill night for movies. Do something ultra-relaxing over this break.

Five: Cultivate to the full, your attitude of gratitude.

A quote from my favorite book on how to do this:

"And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise." - Philippians 4:8

Here's to a solid finish in 2020!
